The NGA is a modern multifunctional centre for art and culture that seeks active dialogue with society. The gallery’s permanent exhibition consists of works by prominent Lithuanian artists: painters, sculptors, printmakers, photographers and contemporary artists. The NGA holds exhibitions of Lithuanian and international art, and hosts film screenings, talks by artists, public discussions, and creative educational events. New forms of intellectual entertainment provide a unique experience, and expand visitors’ knowledge and understanding of visual culture.
